16th Century Bronze Seal Matrix. Copper-alloy, 23.38 mm. 11g. A chess-piece type matrice with collared shaft and round seal face. The face of the seal has an engraved crudely executed square garnished shield emblazoned with a Fleur de Lis. Recorded on the PAS database: KENT-BA056C.
